Organizational Paradoxes and Metamorphosis in Collective Action

This paper addresses the subject of organizational paradoxes through lens complexity theory. The first part study focuses on formalization key elements in order to better understand concept tension presentation related constructs, i.e., dilemmas, dialectics and paradoxes. second introduces interpreting theory, highlighting how characteristic emergence complex systems makes it possible identify two different levels: that forms, both which are impacted by tension. That reflection leads authors postulate metamorphosis is process organizations, constantly crossed tension, regenerate forms’ level basis evolving tensions between elements.
